Celebrant: The Lord’s kindness endures forever, and his faithfulness extends to all generations. Confident that he hears the prayers of his people, we call out to our God in faith:
  
†  That our bishops, the successors of the apostles, may inspire renewed zeal for evangelization throughout the Church; 
We pray to the Lord.
 
†  That nations divided by political tensions may seek reconciliation and a renewed spirit of unity; 
We pray to the Lord.
 
†  That those in the grip of addiction may be set free from their unhealthy attachments and restored to a balanced life; 
We pray to the Lord.
 
†  That our farmers receive strength and wisdom as they work in the fields. May they be protected from storms and drought and may their toil yield bountiful harvests;
We pray to the Lord.
 
†  That the Holy Spirit may cure those suffering any illness or disease, returning them to wholeness in body, mind, and spirit; 
We pray to the Lord.

†  For Kendall Rose, baptized here this weekend, and for her parents and godparents. May they always model for her a life of discipleship;
We pray to the Lord.
 
†  That all who have died may rejoice in the mercy of God and the triumph of Easter,
