Celebrant: Confident that we shall not want for anything if we but follow the Good Shepherd, let us bring to our Lord the needs and desires of our hearts. 
 
†  That our bishops and priests may pastor the Lord’s flock with the heart of Jesus, ministering as shepherds willing to safeguard their sheep; 
Let us pray to the Lord.
 
†  That Jesus may call more people to serve his Church as priests, deacons, and religious brothers and sisters, and that those he calls may hear his voice and trustingly follow him; 
Let us pray to the Lord.
 
†  That all farmers and ranchers who provide the world’s food have a safe and successful spring season, especially those from our parish and community,  
Let us pray to the Lord.
 
†  That all Christians may follow the example of Christ, accepting suffering with patience and allowing it to transform their lives; 
Let us pray to the Lord.
 
†  That those suffering from physical and mental illnesses may be healed by the wounds of Christ and restored to wholeness; 
Let us pray to the Lord.
