CELEBRANT: Grateful for Christ’s sacrifice upon the cross by which we are saved and redeemed, let us offer our petitions. 
 
†  For the Church, may she lift high the Cross of Christ, proclaiming forgiveness and redemption in Him alone,
Let us pray to the Lord.
 
†  For world leaders, may they look upon the Son of God, believe in Him, and advance the peace and justice that only He can bring, 
Let us pray to the Lord. 
 
†  For all Christians, may we be strengthened by God as we encounter our daily crosses, and may we give witness to Christ by living the paschal mystery in trustful surrender.
Let us pray to the Lord.
 
†  For our farmers and agricultural workers, may their labors be blessed with favorable weather, abundant harvests, safety, and just compensation,
Let us pray to the Lord.
 
†  For our newly baptized Charlotte Bowker, and her parents and godparents. Through the grace of your sacraments, make them faithful followers and witnesses to your gospel.
